DENVER, Colo.- October 19, 2011 – The TriZetto Group, Inc. today announced that its board of directors has named president and CEO Trace Devanny the company’s new chairman. Devanny succeeds Jeff Margolis, TriZetto’s founder, who will serve as chairman emeritus.

Prior to joining TriZetto, Devanny was president of Cerner Corp., a global provider of healthcare solutions. As president, he oversaw the company’s operations in 23 countries on six continents. Devanny led Cerner’s five-fold expansion in revenue as well as the creation of Cerner’s global presence and brand. Earlier in his career, Devanny was president and chief operating officer of ADAC Health Care Information Systems and held a series of executive positions with IBM, including leading IBM’s healthcare business in the Mid-Atlantic region.
